Microdermabrasion treatments are commonly used in combination with other treatments including facial peels that promote the production of new skin cells as an anti-ageing strategy. The treatment polishes and deeply exfoliates the skin, whilst promoting lymphatic drainage. The small diamond hand piece is passed over the face to loosen and remove the upper layer of dead skin cells.
